Greetings, I’m Farrah, a devoted reader, and fervent writer. I’m 27 years old and reside with my grandmother. I am a librarian by profession. Since childhood, while other kids ventured off to amusement parks and exhausted themselves in the outdoors, I found solace in my garden shed with the works of Oscar Wilde or Wordsworth. This essentially hinted at me being an introvert.
It’s not surprising that as I grew older, I discovered a sanctuary within books. This enabled me to explore diverse topics, leading me to believe that I should discuss subjects I’m knowledgeable about, which others might be unaware of. These include:
- Love and relationships
- Food and well-being
- Fashion and its History

Hello, dear visitors. I am Bethany, a 28-year-old residing with my delightful canine companions, Sussie and Mell. I love reading, but I possess a stronger affinity for observing my surroundings, meeting new people, and immersing myself in different cultures. All of these provide me with a comprehensive worldview.
One may aptly label me an extrovert. Thanks to who I am, I found Farrah – it was during a serendipitous encounter at a quaint bookshop in the suburban outskirts of London that I crossed paths with her. Though our love for acquiring knowledge binds us, our approaches diverge. Being an enthusiast of the great outdoors, I can impart wisdom on:
- Nurturing effective communication skills
- Mastering the art of preparing quick bites
- Embarking on globetrotting adventures without loosening the purse strings
Storyline
- How did we meet?
We crossed paths at a bookshop in Hampstead on a balmy summer evening. As fate would have it, we found ourselves perusing the same section, “Fiction,” and serendipitously collided.
- How did our friendship blossom?
During our initial encounter, our mutual intrigue stemmed from our shared literary preferences. It was an instantaneous connection. Soon after that fortuitous bookstore encounter, we decided to reconvene at a café, eager to engage in spirited discussions encompassing the vivid tapestry of life, from its beautiful moments to its uglier aspects. We quickly discovered that we were not proponents of idle chatter but kindred spirits capable of delving into meaningful conversations that could span hours.
- How did our blog come into existence?
After two years of nurturing our friendship and getting to know one another, we felt driven to create a platform to share our stories with others.
- What do we discuss?
Our blog serves as a forum for discussing a wide array of topics, including books, life, relationships, health, travel, and food, among others.
- What inspires our writing?
As two distinct individuals, although both avid readers, Bethany embodies a true globetrotter spirit. I draw my inspiration primarily from the pages of books.
- Where are we currently at?
At present, we publish three posts per week and have plans to increase our output to five posts weekly.
- Will we continue?
For the foreseeable future, we intend to enlighten and entertain you with our words. Taking a break from writing is simply not in our vocabulary, a sentiment shared by both of us.
- Are we open to suggestions?
Absolutely! Both Bethany and I are eager learners, and what better way to embrace new ideas than by tasting a slice of your thoughts?
